That's true. Forgot it was a defensive them. Did you get my Booklet ideas? Figured nicknames of old players would be neat, delete a couple of those offensive guys. I forgot we were going defensive and came up with those names while playing Madden on the ps3.

if you posted in the thread (which you did I believe) i'll add it to the final idea!
oh, somebody add Larry Izzo, Steve Tasker, and Vince Papale to the list in their mini sets. might as well give some of the special teams grunts some recognition

Ok so defensive players of the charter class include
Wilbur Henry Robert Hubbard Sammy Baugh (Played 6 years in the secondary) Red Grange (10 career picks) Sketchy Members up to PM's discretion Don Hutson (played some safety but its iffy to include him) Bronko Nagurski (5 career picks) Fun Fact: No relation to the apprentice. During my research I found out that Tim Mara purchased the New York Football Giants for $500 in 1925....yes five hundred dollars.

Road Kill Collectors Submission
Name: Defensive Dynasties Price: $500 per box/ 2000 per 4 box half-case/ 4000 per 8 box master case (case hit being a 1/1) Box will have 2 packs per box, 5 cards each. Box break will be 3 base cards, 3 parallels, and at least 4 autos. Each pack will contain a hit to ensure people aren't selling the packs individually to scam the secondary market. we decided to do a defensive only set, highlighting the defensive greats that don't get a ton of recognition in the hobby. While it's true that some defensive players these days get autographs and jersey cards in sets, this will be a unique set that only has defensive players and a few special teamers. This set will re-live those defensive dynasties we grew up with and those that went before us. The set will have multiple parts. Each player will have a base card in the set with multiple parallels to maximize the amount of chase cards for master set collectors and player supercollectors. There is also a quad-auto set highlighting the 4 dominant defensive players on the team for their superbowl run. These cards will vary in print run due to some of them requiring the use of cut autographs due to some players being deceased, making them even rarer and raising their prices on the secondary market. Lastly, there is an insert set highlighting various game-changing plays during superbowl history with a parallel set containing autos with a low print run. This set is built to maximize not only the secondary value with all of the chase cards, but maximize our price point since many of these veterans are in the HOF and therefore fetch a high price per auto. Quad Auto set (cards with a '!' in front are /25 or less, each quad auto will have 4 1/1's for printing plates black, magenta, yellow, and cyan). ! All 60's Squad: dick lane/ yale lary/ willie wood/ larry wilson ! 79-80 Steelers - Donnie Shell/Jack Ham/Jack Lambert/Mel Blount ! 81 49ers - Ronnie Lott/Dwight Hicks/Carlton Williamson/Keena Turner 82 Redskins –Dexter Manley/Tony Peters/Jeris White/Dave Butz ! 83 Raiders – Howie Long/Rod Martin/Vann McElroy/Lester Hayes 84 49ers – Ronnie Lott/Keena Turner/Dwight Hicks/Carlton Williamson ! 85 Bears – Richard Dent/Dan Hampton/Mike Singletary/Otis Wilson ! 86 Giants – Leonard Marshall/Lawrence Taylor/Jim Burt/Harry Carson 87 Redskins – Charles Mann/Darrell Green/Barry Wilburn/Monte Coleman ! 88 49ers – Charles Haley/Michael Carter/Bill Romanowski/Ronnie Lott 89 49ers – Charles Haley/Tim KcKyer/Ronnie Lott/Pierce Holy 90 Giants – Pepper Johnson/Lawrence Taylor/Reyna Thompson/Erik Howard ! 91 Redskins – Darrell Green/Charles Mann/Wilber Marshall/Fred Stokes ! 92 Cowboys – Ken Norton/Jim Jeffcoat/Kevin R. Superbowl Defensive Gamebreakers insert set below. These are some of the greatest defensive plays in superbowl history. Saints-Colts -Howie Long leads Raiders D in shutting down Skins in SB XVIII. Raiders-Skins -Derrick Brooks pick sixes the Raiders in SB XXXVII to seal it. Buccs- Raiders -Reggie White terrorizes Pats in SB XXXI, getting a hurry, sack, and sack on one series. Packers-Pats -Mike Bass interception off of blocked FG (and pass) in 1973 SBVII. Skins-Phins -Leon Lett fumble recovery knocked loose at the goal by Don Beebe in SB XXVII. Cowboys-Bills Lastly, a set of 1/1 booklets titled Master Monikers Sean Taylor RIP Booklet Bio 1/1 Deacon Jones - "The Deacon" Booklet 1/1 Deion Sanders - Neon Deion Booklet 1/1 Skip Thomas - Dr Death Booklet 1/1 Gilbert Brown - The GraveDigger Booklet 1/1 Darrell Green - Ageless Wonder Booklet 1/1 Zach Thomas and Larry Izzo - Fred and Barney Dual Booklet 1/1 Steve Tasker - A Tisker A Tasker Booklet 1/1 Vince Papale - Underdog Booklet 1/1 Joe Greene - Mean Joe booklet 1/1 lots of 1/1's and parallels to keep collectors going nuts, especially with 1 promised in each 8 box case. the quad autos will cause buyers to buy more boxes for the chance at pulling it themselves since there will be up to 4 players that have collectors chasing them on each card, therefore driving up secondary prices and making it more desirable to roll the dice on our product.

Donald BOHICA - The Upper Deck executives were unanimous in their decision and choose Roadkill Collectors as the winner. Congratulations.
That means that 9 guys, 1 cup are the losers, again. cinnakaok please choose 2 people to return to the boardroom with you where someone will be fired. |

Sweet baby Jesus with a flamethrower. I can't believe how badly things have spiraled out of control. You tried your best PM.

In the boardroom...I got sweaty hands and bubble guts.
I would just like to say that this was a difficult task and thank cinnakaok for the work he did. In my defense, I submitted more than dacubs. I don't even think dacubs posted any ideas for the project. I brought up some valid ideas for inserts, themes and players that should be included into the set and after looking at the final submissions for both teams, I feel that my ideas were right on point with what was used. I have always participated in all the tasks from the beginning and always stay active. I know we are coming down to the final few contestants, but going forward I know that I have a lot to show the Don and if given the chance to be project manager can turn around 9 Guys 1 Cup.
