Tajikeyrosa is here to plead his case:

DBO, I feel like I presented some quality ideas and performer suggestions for this potential cash cow. When presenting those ideas, I made zero mention of 100% of our proceeds/profits going to charity. This would have been detrimental to the success of our team, as the rules for this challenge specifically stated that the winning team will solely be based on net profits.

Now, don't misconstrue this as me thinking charitable donations are out of the question, but had this idea of presenting all of our profits to charity been hashed out to the group as a whole, I definitely would have chimed in that we should contribute a percentage of our profits not equal to 100%; perhaps in the 20 to 25% range.

Our team leader priced us right out of this competition by making the decision to donate ALL profits to charity, completely eliminating our chance of winning this challenge.

Wow, throw me under? Well i guess it's my time to plea:

I had nothing to do with the failure. I threw out a suggestion and it didn't stick. It was a good suggestion, and 1 part was used, but the rest of the entry was crap.

I don't see how I should be fired for coming up with something good. The one who should be fired is the one who came up for profits towards charity, because that's why we lost.

Why the hell would we give all our money to charity? This is a business. Treat it like one.

I repeat, not all of the money was supposed to go to charity, I don't know how that happened. I simply tried to get people to pony up more cash because it was for a good cause.

But, even if you didn't mean for it to happen, it did. And that's your responsibility. I'm not trying to single you out, but it just pisses me off to potentially be kicked off for something that wasn't caused by me.

I'm pumped for this next round...tough member to lose but it would've been tough to lose either member. But I think we've still got a solid core for the rest of this game!

When there are only 4 contestants left the game changes quite a bit, the teams never combine.

You need to plan an exhibition game for a Kansas City home game against a team that does not contain active major leaguers, and add a promotion for the attending audience. Please keep cost in mind. The winning team is the team that draws the largest attendance. Good luck.

Quick question - when you say a team that does not contain active major leaguers, does that mean it can include anyone that isn't on a major league team? In that case, I'm thinking either local KC celebs and college players and, cost being an issue (and redundancy from out last challenge), guys like Biebs since they'll draw a large crowd. Biebs would certainly kill our costs but we'd draw a lot of people, double edged sword.

It can include anyone that isn't on a major league team. Keep in mind that the opponents would have to be paid for their participation.

And I'm going to add in, that since it is a exhibition game, cost is going to be locked in at $100 a ticket lower bowl, and higher than that at $25 a ticket for the remainder of the stadium. Luxury boxes are reserved for team VIPS.

Yeah I'm down for that. Maybe some Chiefs (NOT Matt Cassel haha), some college kids, maybe some Sporting FC players, and some celebs. I'm into it.

Maybe we could also have a few spots on the team for "lucky fans?" Like they could have an open tryout and the top three people at the tryout get to play in the game against the Royals. It's gonna be laid back anyways, might as well let some locals try to play against their heroes.

And as for audience stuff, maybe there could be a big raffle that you could win with each ticket purchased. Like 8 royals season tickets, or a memorabilia package from the royals and the celebs. Very cool would be a photo of the Royals and their opponents autographed by everyone there. And only the raffle winner would get one.
