I make no accusations on the validity of the autograph in this auction, but I almost wet myself when I looked over the COA that uneniably certified that the item was personally autographed. The hand written "Rocky Colavito Index Card" notation on the COA added that extra measure of class
Rocky Colavito signed index card with COA TOUGH AUTO - eBay (item 150161014639 end time Sep-01-09 14:07:46 PDT)

After casually staying updated with autograph alert.com's news section over the last year, I've come to realize that about the only difference between the COA in that auction and one from PSA/DNA or JSA is that the later companies have fancy looking holograms and professional looking certificates. Other than that, it basically comes down to the opinion of 1 person, and that opinion may or may not be correct regardless of what the COA says. PSA/DNA / JSA certificates only help an item sell better (for now anyway)... they don't make the item any more or less legitimate.
