I'd either get a Tundra, Sierra or Ram.

I second this, I love the one I have (pic in my avatar) and with a Sierra you better be ready to get the Transmission fixed every other month...
Edit: Here's a bigger pic.

Go to kellogg Idaho to Dave Smith, and get a new dodge ram. They are friggin cheap there, and the truck pulls anything and everything.

Just bought my daughter a 2012 Honda Ridgeline. She loves it, drives like a car but is still a truck. I don't think it rates well in power, so if you are pulling a boat or camper may want to look elsewhere.

that is because it is a minivan with a 'truck' body. seriously. I like Honda, my wife has had two accords, a pilot and now has a CR-v, they are very well built and reliable.

As someone who works on vehicles, the best advice I can give you is do your research. EVERY car, truck or suv has pros and cons. My dad has owned Chevy, Ford, Dodge and GMC trucks. EACH one had it's own issues. And each one had things that made it stand out from the rest. If you are looking for a new truck then look at reviews, recalls, warranties and see which one best fits your needs. If you are looking for used then look up which trucks have problems and the mileage in which they usually happen. Good luck!

I know own a Lincoln Mark LT. I also use to own a Sierra. It was nice overall. I used it to pull a 17 ft boot, towed dirt bikes, and used it as a family vehicle. I had one problem with the front end on the drivers side Hub bearing it was defective. They recalled the part and changed the one on my truck for free. Well about 7-8 months go by an I notice the truck was driveing a little strange again steering funny. I bring the truck back to the dealer they change it again same part same problem. Free of course. I see a old friend that works for the dealer ( mechanic ) and he tells me that the part that was being change on my truck was was not broke. He informed me that there was a bad design on the setup on the front end of truck and this would just keep happening. So they would just change the cheapest part until the warranty would run out. Then I would have to pay for the labor ---average cost 800 to change the same part out of my pocket
But they would pay for the part that was recalled. 2 weeks later I was driving a Lincoln Mark LT. Black on black. 2007 model. Made by FORD. Just saying do a little research before you buy your truck. We all might have a difference of opinion but the facts speak for themselves. Ford F150 is the #1 Selling truck in America. Good luck on your purchase. |

My mom has a Nissan frontier that is great for towing. She has a tag along camper. I can drive it do it handles well for its size. Maybe for your next truck.

I got a 2010 2500 hd quad cab 4wd and even paid retail for it (not auction price) at 26.5k with 11k miles on it!
YOu got a steal man!!! A STEAL! What package is it and is it 4wd? Lastly about fords! I love fords and the Raptor is the #@#@#@#@!! The one and only thing I can complain about for the fords is the fact that the 6.0 diesel motors suck BALLS. The head bolts stretch and require a factory fix aka a stud kit which will cost you an arm and a leg. I currently have a 2006 f350 lariat with 77k miles on it at the shop and am 7800$ into it on top of the 8k I paid for it. (which incl new motor with stud kit and all labor since its a buddy working on it) The stud kit alone is about 2500+ but the labor will kill you and you have to take the whole cab off to get to the motor. That being said if anyone was going to get one, pick up a 7.3 and you will be fine any other diesel motor is garbage from ford. I have 4 of them (f250-f350) I got for really good deals and I am buying wrecked 7.3s for the motors to swap. Anyways nice choice on the 2012 dude that is sick!

Thor, Thanks man! It's the LS package 2wd. I chose the LS package because its ALOT cheaper to customize a car yourself than to have the dealership install accessories. I tinted the windows yesterday and I'm getting my side step rails (which they included in the price just for me buying from them!) put on today along with magnaflow turndowns put on also. One of my best friends knows a guy who is trading a set of 20's straight up for a set of factory rims lol. I'm putting 22's on my truck anyway so I figured why the hell not make the trade? I can always sell the 20's lol. I'm going to post some pics tomorrow.
