Something tells me she needs glasses or has a serious depth perception problem. I am betting she thought that other train was on her platform.

Sorry, this is not my idea of funny. Maybe if the baby would have been killed by a train it really would have gotten some great laughs.

This one is funnier hands down because no infant was injured and this idiot woman had the bad sense to sue the mall for her pain (and the fact no one helped her out of the fountain) and go on all of the morning TV shows.

I hope if I ever fall with one of the boys in my hands, I react diferrently. I hope her and the baby are both ok.

The second one happened at a mall about 45 minutes from my house. I have been there many, many times because I went to college in that town. The fountain is annoying but I don't see how you could miss it.

I have a pretty sick sense of humor, but I didn't think it was funny. Not when it involves a life, particular a child's.

This happened locally over in Cambridge...was on the news here that night. As the report goes, you are correct. She claims she thought the train on the other side of the tracks was on her side of the tracks. That is crazy, but apparently what she said... So you sir are correct.

This, however, was extremely hilarious. I agree. This is just a case of a fat, lazy, no good biotch gaming the system. Gets up and brushes it off and walks away? You kidding me? And yes, this ALSO happened in Boston. Well, techically South Boston, but still, on the MBTA.

I have co-worker who has horrible depth perception. She almost got us killed twice because she didn't realize traffic on the highway had come to a complete stop. We were still going 60 mphs an hour when I yelled "f-ing stop!". She slammed on the breaks and we narrowly missed them. Second time, pretty much the same thing. Same highway, different day.

Is the baby ok?

Yeah, some dude jumped right down and helped them back up, both were fine.

The whole depth perception thing...that is a problem. Why - with all due respect - is someone like that allowed to drive? Isn't that inherently dangerous for everyone? Can that be helped with glasses/contacts?

I am glad to hear they are both ok.

I am not sure why she is still allowed to drive. She does have glasses and they do not help with her depth perception.
