Its my understanding that this season the meat of the plot will be Harold Perrineau as Damon Pope. Supposedly a drug lord with ties to the One Niners. I believe his daughter was killed when Tig tried taking out Laroy.

Jimmy Smits is worked in as well....

Wondering if the ending from season 4 is tied up or if Danny Trejo will be back in any form.

Trejo will be back this season and yes the big problem will be with Damon Pope seeking revenge for what Tig pulled

Cannot wait for this to start and see how the interaction between Jax & Clay, and if/when Opie comes full circle and takes the seat next to Jax

I'm very excited for this. This has to be Tig's last season, know way he survives this year. I predict Perrineau will scream Walt once.

I saw a promo of Opie being arrested in his cuts, so he's clearly back. Trejo will be back. Should be fun to see the new dynamic with Jax as Prez & Clay in the Piney role.

Finally watched a 2nd time to let it soak in. Gotta say it was a so so episode until about the last few when Tig was suckered into showing up at the train yard.

Anyone else glad for closed captioning when Chibs talks?

I actually think Tuesday's episode was good. There's a lot going on this season, and they can't do what they did in S5E1 every episode. Should be interesting to see what goes down in what is turning out to be a Prison Break-esque season.

BUT am i tripping or did one of the nomads( new recruits) break into the house and beat up unser? It was the scene where they threw the safe but kept the birth certificates. anyone know?

Yes. One of the guys is the peg leg from the Nomad club.

This. If you can, watch the scene in episode 1 where Jax introduces the nomads. The guy with the prosthetic leg puts his foot up on the prospect's shoulder. Then, at the end of the episode, the camera zooms in on the prosthetic, as if blatantly telling us who it is.

I think Clay is behind the break-ins..trying to distract the club from what he did to Piney.
