Planning on buying a new router soon (once I decide which way to go...it wont be Linksys because I dont like the idea of having to log in to their site to change my settings). Even though I live in a rural area, I still have mine set up with MAC address filtering, wired connection required to change settings and a password that even I cant remember its so random.

I might keep that in mind when I set up my 'guest' network.

2 of my neighbors had versions of these. pretty funny stuff, one was an open connection too, so you could freeload.

lady in the Apt underneath us once came up to see if she could "borrow" our network as she worked from home and was fighting w/Cox so she didn't have her own connection. I laughed, and told her to go the library or the main office and use their computers.

He is a cheap @$$, so I am sure he tries to locate free WiFi and comes across mine
