Default The Ol' wifey and I are pregnant with twins

Families had known for a about two weeks and I just posted the "official" announcement to all my friends on facebook. Don't usually care for posting personal stuff on here, but I figured once you've been around for some time people know who you are and like to hear what's going on in people's life. I already have a 2 and a half year old boy so this should be interesting. Hoping for two more little handsome men.

Any advice from the parents who had a twin pregnancy?

Congrats!

Wish you and your wife only the best of luck throughout the pregnancy and afterwards. No kiddos here, so no advice to give. How about, sleep now while you can?

But please tell me....they are going to be Patriots fans, right???

Congratulations!! I can't say I have any advice as my wife and I are currently trying to get pregnant ourselves. No luck so far and I know she's starting to feel a bit concerned about it. We are just going to keep hoping and praying that it happens soon.

Good luck to you!!

On the street faster than you could say hell no. I'll let my kids play whatever sport they want, listen to any music they want, dress how they want (within reason), when it comes to football I'm going straight dictator it's Bolts or nothing.

Congrats! That is great news!

Some tips:
Get your wife's pregnancy cravings even if it is 3am.
Let her relax a lot
She is going to go through a phase where she can't keep her hands off of you.
Stock up on tums.
Get her a nice push gift

Congrats, all I can say is bed rest is very important once near 7 months. Once she's at 7 months it's vital to be more cautious in every way possible because Twins can lead to a lot of complications. Start clipping coupns for diapers & other then that have fun

My twin boys turn 7 on Sunday. Congratulations.

My Wife and I had to do Invitro, so the Doc said we had a 5% of twins and I told her that day we were having two.
Next step was finding out the boy/girl ratio. I was obviously very excited to be blessed with two boys and even though my wife was worried that our house would become a boys club, that is not the case.

We were lucky in that my wife didn't have many cravings, and despite her best efforts she was put on bed rest for almost 2 weeks prior to birth. It was fun seeing each ultrasound visit to see Baby A&B, and seeing them try to kick each others #@#@#@ inside her stomach.

Both boys were early(by almost a month) so one spent almost a week in the NICU, and the other almost 2 weeks. But that was a blessing as the people there helped us alot prepare for bringing them home.

Best advice is to try and get in a routine, but always have a backup plan in place for the WHOLE process.

Best of luck, if you have any questions- PM me.
My sons are the best of friends or wont be found in the same room as each other, they are in 1st grade now, and are in separate classes for the first time.

Don't know how the first pregnancy went, but make sure she knows she is the QUEEN of the house.
Twins are rough, she will get tired towards the end( I mean TIRED and GRUMPY) have patience.
My wife never had 3am cravings, but midnight definitely.

My twin girls turned 7 on Sep 2nd
Twins usually come early, Mine were a month early also stayed in the hospital for week. Be prepared for that.
Roughest part was watching my wife not be able to bring the girls home. BE STRONG FOR HER!

If you thought your first was child was tough, wait for these 2 to show up. Start stocking up on diapers, you wont believe how many they will go through... in a day LOL

They will be best friends!
They will FIGHT!
They won't let you sleep at night, or during the day.
They will make your life happier!

Thanks for all the advice. We already have a handsome little man, and I'm hoping for two more even though the wife wants a girl, either way it will be exciting.
