I think a diving board and a trampoline are good guesses, but it's always something much more complicated...A friend of mine won about a year ago with "A pair of scissors in a blender". So you really have to a detailed answer...That's why a batting cage isn't likely the answer now that I think about it.

Interesting. I don't know what kind of detailed answer there could be from a grandfather clock though...The answers to these are never simple.

It sounds like someone dropping a five gallon bucket with some kind of liquid in it. The click at the end is the handle hitting the side of the bucket. Maybe?
