Here's the deal, my local radio station's "secret sound" game is up to about $700. Check it out and look at the wrong guesses, if I get through and pick your answer, I'll paypal you $100 if it happens to be right...I just don't have a clue what it is...

I'd say it's wood and like you said something that you can get moving very fast for a split second before resisting and coming back to a dead stop.
