Default Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3

I just got this game yesterday and started playing it... Even with the instructions as well as seeing the character combos I can't seem to get off what I see many of these pros do (and I was previously pro at 3 different games, so trust me I know I can do it they aren't difficult).

Anyone here able to pull off those combos with resets? Does it require certain powerup cards or is there just a combo

Say with amaterasu you go light/med/heavy/special (knocks them into air), you jump -light/med/heavy/special (enemy knocked to ground), at this point I don't know how to get them back up re-combo and reset before they roll up - that's what I'm asking. For instance Doctor's downward kick that he knocks people up with - this is where I lose the combo and can't find much info to get these full/big combos in

Anyway if anyone happens to be a top tier player at this game LMK!

I wouldn't consider myself a Top Ranked player, but I'm very combo efficient. I don't have Ultimate M vs. C but I do have the Original M vs. C 3 and have done quite well there. Is there a combo training mode you can practice in? If there is start there and then try to tweak those combos with your own moves to expand them. Once you start juggling your opponent it's not that hard to keep at it.

Let me know if your looking for more specific character help and I'll see what I can come up with.

Pick a char, I'm impartial as long as I can figure out their combo.

I can typically pull out a lmlhs combo to knock them into the air, but after four hits I knock them back down and lose it, am I doing a downward heavy on the ground to knock them up or do I have to downward heavy in the air to re-knock them up to restart? I've seen so many different combos with everyone that I figure you can do just about any of them. I guess I need help with juggling because I can't catch on to that I always seem to knock them down into the ground

It's just going to take some practice with whichever characters you want to start with. Dante is pretty simple to start with IMO, but yes all characters are built differently. Some can juggle while on the ground easier than others who can juggle mid air easier. Which characters do you use the most?

Wolverine / Zero / Dormammu is my lineup, dorm always last zero/wolv switch whenever

Dorm seems hard as heck to get a combo with, maybe I'm doing it wrong but I like him for black hole + team hyper combo.

I finally figured out the team aerial, i can pull off 1 in fights but haven't been able to get off the double... I've been doing them as such

lmlhs^lmlh(down)s (hit down, swap) lmlhs (i normally lose it there because I forget to do down hard hit instead of just h)

Anyway it's getting easier as I figure it out but I have no reference whatsoever, is there a website that shows you juggles and combos that is fairly simple to navigate?

Anyways, you don't want to try to mimic these exact combos, instead use the same moves to start the juggle but try out your own combos, you'll be more successful at it that way. So for Dormammu it seems the big ass pink laser is a good place to start the juggle.

Ah I see, so you need to throw abilities in there - I'm just trying to straight hit them I'm not throwing anything out...

I still prefer HoN!
