McDonald's Monopoly - Anyone ever win anything?

Besides free fries or McFlurries, has anyone ever won any of the prizes from the game piece collections?

I was surprised to see how much these go for on Ebay too.

I won a free McFlurry, and when I redeemed it it was atleast 40% m&ms. A spoonful of ice cream produced atleast 15 of those mini m&ms.

I don't usually get McFlurries, that can't be normal, can it?

When I was five my parents bought me a coke and opened it. We had won a 1990 for ranger. It expired two days before then . Never win anything from McDonald's. on another note. How's your playbopk silvers coming? Finish the set?

This is a true story,
When I was in school and when N64 first came out
Taco Bell held a similiar contest with Nintendo chracters.
You collect certain pieces for free taco, free n64 games,
Free n64 system and with the grand prize being Million bucks.
So I'm in taco bell one day with Friends and I get the Super Mario piece which is part of million dollars. Of course I'm thinking Mario? Common piece since he is the center piece and thought nothing of it.
So I throw away the piece and few weeks later I'm in taco bell again
And this time I'm looking at the back of the game piece for odds of getting the stickers..

Mario was 1:16,000,000

As for the McDonalds things all I've won is the snapfish prints. Sucks.

By the way, does anyone have any online codes available? Theyre the ones at the bottom of the game pieces

As a kid I once thought I pulled the fourth railroad piece and the prize was like an SUV and a jet ski. Raced home and it was just a duplicate of one I had

On another note I am shocked these go for anything on Ebay. I had no idea, I mean why bother just go buy a Big Mac and get some pieces for free if you want them so bad. It's not like any are that rare, I would imagine they print up a ton of most of them and then print like one of each of the last ones you need for a big prize. They want people to think they are close so they keep buying.

I eat at McDs maybe one time per year. Made my one stop on Sept. 29th. It was late and nothing else was open. I saw the rules on the wll. I've never seen such a TOS for a game. Somewhere in that poster with 8pt font must have been the words 'nobody will win.'

I didn't even get a game piece with my purchase. I don't think I've ever even seen a McD's Monopoly gamepiece. I'd rather cook my own burger at home. I guess I can start including prizes with those.

In 2000, the US promotion was halted after fraud was uncovered. A subcontracting company called Simon Marketing (a then-subsidiary of Cyrk), which had been hired by McDonald's to organize and promote the game, failed to recognize a flaw in its procedures, and the chief of security, Jerome P. Jacobson, was able to remove the most expensive game pieces, which he then passed to associates who would redeem them and share the proceeds. The associates won almost all of the top prizes between 1995 and 2000, including McDonald's giveaways that did not have the Monopoly theme. The associates netted over $24 million.
