Unhappy Stiff neck

I have the worst stiff neck from working out or sleeping wrong. Only one other time I have felt like this.

I took a hot shower, alternating heat pad and ice packs, icy hot, took four advil and tried stretching it out.

Any remedies out there?

Yes....have a scantily clad hot woman give you a neck rub.

I once made a stupid mistake and tried to squat more weight than I should have by resting the bar directly on my spine. It was horrible, what helped was a massage and I had to extend my neck (did you ever watch the old WWF wrestler Crush's finishing move?) I'm no expert though, so good luck.

I do the following several times per day:

Sit flat footed with your back straight.

Turn your head as far as you can to the right and then do the same to the left. Keep your eyes straightforward. Feel the stretch on the opposite side of your neck. So this ten times. Don't rush.

Next

Nod your head so that your chin tucks to your chest/throat area and then tilt your head back as far as you can. Do this ten times. Don't rush.

Last

Rotate your head in a counterclockwise circle using your neck as a swivel. Try to touch your ear to each shoulder, your neck to your back and your chin to your chest. Don't rush. Concentrate on the stretch. Do this five times and then reverse the direction.

If you read or stare at a computer screen for hours and hours. These motions will help a lot for tension in the neck.

I am the guy.... the one that is... umm... these guys are equally repulsive.

Ok I just knocked out the guy in the yellow towel with the semi-wood (apparently WV... I had no idea at the time) and I am holding him down for the proper authorities to arrive. Was he trying to float away? I guess so. I knocked him out because he stole all my freaking clothes! Not sure who else from BO is in the picture, but there must be some based on a post above. I will let them explain what they are doing.

I did not know that was TheHeel with the camera. I will let him explain the Justin Beiber t-shirt, fanny pack, and crocs he was wearing.

If it is that stiff, you need some baby oil and a towel. Turn on some porn and, ...oh wait...you said stiff neck.

That's not a semi-wood

I think you could use a stiff neck to your advantage. Maybe get a massage from the Mrs, tell her she needs to be on top, etc.

Thank you to everyone with the helpful and funny posts. I went to the hospital this morning and had xrays done. Thank goodness they were negative but I am scheduled for a mri soon.

After three shots in the arse, I am feeling much better.
