another Netflix thread

looking for some new movies to watch on nextflix and not sure which ones are worth watching of the movies I havent really heard of. I am into the Thriller, Suspense, Mind-bending type stuff.....really dont care for the foreign movies with subtitles though.....so any suggestions?

cassius423 10-11-2012 02:18 PM

Not movies, but if u haven't watched the walking dead or breaking bad I would strongly recommend them. If u like military documentaries, check out restrepo.

Nicnac 10-11-2012 02:36 PM

The Interrupters

Watch it. NOW.

Being Elmo (if you still haven't seen it, and if not, shame on you).

XL5 10-11-2012 02:57 PM

District B13 (sorry, it has subtitles but you can ignore them).

Also, The Damned United and Triangle if it they ever come back to watch instantly. Triangle especially given your preference for thriller/mindbenders.

It would take me a while to type out all the wonderful programs and movies I have watched that would fit your criteria, so I'll just list my current guilty viewing pleasure.

Torchwood.

Here's a few that might fit your genre.

Pi
The Game
Memento (and pretty much any Chris Nolan movie)
Dark City
Cube
Primer

imbaked247 10-11-2012 06:37 PM

Clarka3 10-11-2012 06:40 PM

Part of the pleasure is when you find a movie yourself and want to share it

vc15jrich23 10-11-2012 08:18 PM

The grey just got added to streaming, I enjoyed it but I like those wintery snow type movies like the thing.

EMD34 10-11-2012 08:28 PM

You have probably seen it but if you haven't, Memento is a great movie and it sounds like something you would like.

Strasburg 10-11-2012 10:10 PM

Prison Break-Not a movie, but it is thrilling, and makes you use your head a bit.

If you have not watched this show, you have too, just an amazing plot..so many twists.

Anybody ever watch "The Nines"? The main star is Ryan Reynolds, but it was a more serious type of role for him. I thought the concept for the movie was cool.

EMD34 10-12-2012 06:53 PM

I think you would really like Cashback (it's one of my top ten favorite movies of all time), also Donnie Darko, but you have probably seen that.

Torchwood is awesome.

It may be old school, but all the A-Team episodes are on there now too. Also all five Rocky movies.

I liked it. I watched it not knowing what it was really about and without any expectations. Trying to figure out what was going on with Ryan Reynolds character was the interesting part.
B:D:DBIES!
LOL yeah... :p

I really did like the storyline it had. Very original and the acting was extremely good IMO. What I posted before just adds a whole other level of excitement :)!
