Walking Dead Season 3 10-14-12

I just started watching The Walking Dead. I'm having to catch up by watching the other episodes on Netflix. Right now I'm on Season 2 Episode 10.

i was hoping he'd say his name to see what he said. in the comics (and then later in the novel) he ends up being somebody different. Curious to see which way they went with that.

I was glad they showed the heads in the fish tank. Would like to see the Gov's daughter now. I have a feeling they'll go with the comics on that aspect of the story.


was anybody else disappointed that the soldiers were the worst possible soldiers ever? they never fired a shot and the governor was right in front of them!

LOL YES! I was telling my wife the exact same thing. 1) They had a crappy camp. They were out in the open with no walls. Sure they had guns but why not hide from the hordes or zombies? 2) They allowed a bunch of civilians to ambush them. True the soldiers were tricked, but they don't have a scout or some precaucions to avoid being attacked like that? They were probably just worried about zombies, but they went down without a fight.

Agree. That was not believable at all. Worse yet, the last soldier runs away out in the open without his gun.

If Woodbury Men are to find Ricks Squad, Rick and co are in big trouble. The governor is very smart and seems to have a grasp of the leadership role better than any other characters shown. I think they are looking for able bodied women and that is why Michonne and Andrea were not killed. Men are going to be easier to find and much more of a threat than most women(besides Michonne she's smart) I also didn't notice any elder residents in the town, are they rejected because they are not able bodied and are a threat to become walkers within the gates?

Good observation. If this is true, this brings up survival ethics. I have a feeling that people who are unable to contribute will find a way to "disappear". Perhaps this is the only way for the Governor to maintain stability within the walls.

The CBLDF Annual 2012 that came out yesterday has a short story in it that tells the story of how and why the Governor uses the fish tanks. Only available in that issue!

i read an interview with kirkman and he basically said she is dead. they cant really show a boy shooting his mom on tv

Yeah, they're straying WAY far away from the comics now. It's two different stories with similar locations now.

lots of different issues i'd say.

lori dies in the comics, but it isn't till later in the series (still at the prison, but the tail end of their stay at the prison).

i'm not gonna lie, i teared up like a little bitch, lol. lori talking to carl before the c-section was good stuff. also just when they start giving t-dogg something to do on the show they kill him off. great f'in episode tonight, i was literally watching with my hands on my head and mouth open the last 15 minutes.

I told her that at least there is a series on television that has the balls to whack people with big parts (in other words, Greys Anatomy does not). Digging tonights episode. Is it me, or does anyone else wish Michonne would just kill Andrea and the Gov? Full disclosure, i was wishing Dale would have manned up and let Andrea die in the CDC.

I'm with you...my daughter and I cannot stand Andrea. Tonight's episode was great, but a tradeoff. We couldn't stand Lori either but loved T-Dogg. Anyone else think the Carl/Lori situation might mirror the Morgan/Duane situation in the comics?

On a side note, where is Andrea getting her Clairol??? Around a year now and no roots showing?? Nature doesn't make that shade of blonde...Just sayin'...

I'm curious if TV will allow the Govenor to **** Michonne, and will Michonne ****** his *** to the **** and then use a ***** to **** him and then *** out his ****** with the same ***** she used to *** **** him with? That all happens in issue #33, but to me seems a bit graphic for TV.
