This is just one of those totally off-topic topics. Monday night boredom.
Does anyone here own a Premium Credit Card? Like, one that costs more than $300/year to hold? The reason I ask is because my boss has one and I got to take advantage of it at the airport and it was pretty cool (just the lounge, free stuff). So: - Do you own a premium credit card? - How much is the annual fee? - Do you, or your work pay for it? - What benefits come with it? Others: - How many people think premium credit cards are absolutely ridiculous? Both: - How much do you charge to your credit card (monthly or yearly)? - Do you pay it off or let your balance roll over month-to-month? Right now I have a no-fee, no real benefits credit card. I pay it off each month.

We have a couple of credit cards. All have cash back bonuses and one goes towards my student loans. We normally pay them off monthly but currently have a balance on 2. None of outs have annual fees.
If someone wants a premium cc and it is worth the money, they should utilize it.

I am pretty sure he can because of that nice surveillance system he had set up while you were on that business trip with your boss.

Meh, I've had offers. Probably the most expensive was the Visa Black at 495/year. Didn't look like I'd get that much use from their services though, so I didn't bother. Also Amex sends me something once in a while but I don't think I'd use it enough for the fees to be worthwhile.
Closest thing I have now is a Chase Visa Signature, which combines a traditional line of credit with an Amex-style "no-preset-limit" structure. No annual fee, 1% cash back (there are 5% cashback categories too, but I usually don't bother to sign up). The usual list of other features I never use(concierge, special event ticket offers, etc). My wife and I put about $2500-$3000 a month on our credit card and pay it off each month (we only have 1 main credit card). We literally charge everything we can. We keep racking up the points and get cash back once a summer. Over the last 3 years we have gotten $1500 in "free" cash. Not too bad if you ask me....
I've never used a premium credit card.
