Got into an accident last night.

Was stopped behind a car taking a left and there was a car stopped behind me. A third car slammed into the car behid me who then slammed into me.

I have whiplash but am about 40% better now than when I woke up, even though I didn't sleep much.

My car being a Sautrn, with a plastic composite body has just a few scuffs. The middle car lost it's total back bumper and the 3rd car I'm not sure as I had to leave to pick up my wife.

So from 5PM last night until 5AM this morning I was in a lot of pain.
From 5Am to now the pain is getting better,
Car is fine.
I miss a day of work.

I'm thinking my lawsuit should not be totally out of bounds. I'm thinking $750K

What say you?

Hard to say, good sir, because I'm not in the same predicament. If I were, I'd wanna make sure medical was covered for as long as I need it, and that my car was fixed, but monetary gains outside of that are what created the entitlement generation.

I am assuming you got all the police reports/swap insurance records, etc. all properly done.

Precautionary x-rays (medical expense) should be a no-brainer and picked up by opposing insurance company. If it tells something then go from there.

If you are not missing any body parts I doubt you would see more than 25K and thats a real high number. I know some people that were worse off that did not get close to what number you have in your post. Even if thats a typo and you meant 75 and not 750 its still too high

And for the record. Technology is a wonderful thing.

When I refused medical attention (Got to the hospital) one of the FF/EMT's took my info on a tablet and I e-signed the form.

Also the responding officer took all the information, gave us a case number on his card and said his report with everyone's info will be available within 72 hours.

I just give the case # to my ins co and we are all good to go.

The woman who crashed into us was crying to me saying it was her friends car and she was on her honeymoon. She BEGGED me to not go through the insurance and she would pay for anything that needed to be paid for

Though her story had some holes in it she said she just came down to walk the dog for her friend on the honeymoon. She lives 100 miles from where the accident accured. Man 200 mile RT to walk a dog??

Actually they put in the refusal form that I had some neck and shoulder pain and knee pain. So it is documented.

Knee pain gone. Neck and shoulder got worse and now are getting better

Um No...She was a Brazillian version of Honey Boo Boo's mother although about 50 pounds lighter and 5 noticable chin hairs.

There was an English Bulldog in her backseat. She didn't look any worse for wear. Awesome doggie!

Yeah just sue. Another lawsuit to clog up the court system is just what we need. Especially for the little fender bender you had that probably happens 1000 times a day. Totally disregard that thing called car insurance which usually covers uninsured motorist coverage. Sue sue sue... make sure you give your lawyer 60% also if you win. On top of that if you had AFLAC they would probably pay for the day you missed of work no questions asked. The fact you had to leave the scene of an accident totally not responsible either. You had a throw away camera right and took pictures before you drove off or pictures with your cell phone? Just sayin, another stupid thread. You have insurance call them and let them handle it, thats what its for.

Hope you are feeling okay today...will forward this thread to the person's insurance if you decide to sue, since you said you are feeling okay before the potential lawsuit
