Good luck on your trip and savor the moment. Not sure your exact situation but I only get to see my oldest on the weekends/ school holidays I'm lucky to get off due to work schedule and the distance between us (lives with her mom about 3 hrs away). I definitely look forward to every weekend I get to spend with her.

Have fun man. I am out of town every other week so my 4-5 hour drive home every week I am so so anxious to get home and see my angels. There really is nothing like it.

Enjoy it man!

I spent 9.5 years living 600 miles from my oldest (mom moved away). Then, this past spring, at 15, she told me she wanted to move in with me and finish high school here. I can't express in words how awesome it is to see her so much after only seeing her one weekend a month plus Christmas and 6 weeks in the summer.
