A Poll With Significance. What's your favorite meat?

Title says it all, bring the pain.

If you don't eat meat, then that would fall under other, as would all meat products like potted meat/spam.

Please post pictures of your favorite dishes.

beef, more specifically, kobe beef from Japan. anything else just doesn't cut it. there are some pork cuts that will satisfy as well, but Kobe beef is just that much better.

MI Rob 10-20-2012 08:40 PM

Chicken gets my vote.

PDawson21 10-20-2012 08:41 PM

Filet Mignon FTW! Fish/Shrimp is a close second.

mmbtvs 10-20-2012 08:43 PM

On an unrelated food note, I had corn and basil flavored ice cream(gelato really) yesterday. And survey says: You can skip it.

theautographkid 10-20-2012 08:47 PM

Chicken...especially, the chicken burrito from Chipotle :D

popmaz 10-20-2012 08:47 PM

I went with Buffalo. The wings are the best!

This. I've only had Kobe beef once in my life, about 6 years ago, and haven't been able to truly enjoy beef the way I did before. It really is that much better.

I chose "Other" because I couldn't lump prime rib with veal in the Beef/Veal option...nothing beats a nice cut of prime rib, in my opinion.

JosieD 10-20-2012 08:57 PM

I picked chicken but pork is a very close second espically pork chops off the grill that have been marinating for a full 24 hours and get that crisp burnt edges.

Here is the meal I am most looking forward to next week:

I love combos:

pork chops with mashed potatoes
fish with rice or a baked potato
lobster with a baked potato and broccoli
chicken with cheese or ranch

Lamb for me. I often take long drives to Manhattan just to get some lamb platters from those guys on the street :) They make a mean lamb platter. I'll probably take a drive tonight!

For you sick....... that like veal! Here is a video for you  smh I can't even watch the full video.

Did you already know how they made veal, or did you just not care? Not trying to start a fight or anything, because that's not my style. That's a serious question. Did you already know this?

lambeauleap87 10-20-2012 08:59 PM

Josie, that looks absolutely delicious. I was going to skip dinner tonight until I read this thread.

dherm360 10-20-2012 09:00 PM

No one said Man to this point, so that was a little disappointing

but you can not beat a good steak

SportsItUpCards 10-20-2012 09:01 PM

By the way, I will NEVER eat veal in my life.... EVER!!! Watch that video above.

BostonNut 10-20-2012 09:08 PM

...the one I beat.

Ooosh 10-20-2012 09:11 PM

I like steak, chicken/turkey (white meat), and pork (not ham and I don't really like bacon). I also like tilapia, haddock, salmon, and shrimp.

I haven't tried venison, buffalo, or duck. I hate lamb.

Americans and their ranch!

I'm thinking whether or not I should take my parents to court for feeding me veal as a child.... (thinking).
