Possums! I know they won't go out of their way to attack but they scare they poop out of me.

Also needles, but just like another member when I was 12 nurse (trainee I thinik) stabbed me about a dozen times, my mom told her to stop because I was about to pass out and when the nurse did pull out the needle blood squirted up all over the place.

I'm also afraid of blood, deep bodies of water, drunk drivers (Ive been hit twice!) and commitment. (Damn you Corbin!)

I was ready to pass out. The nurse kept just stabbing me and moving the needle around aimlessly....<<<------Ok Joke Off Time - Who can come up with the best joke based on that set up???????
So by the time the blood splattered I was done. I have never donated blood even though I know I should and want to

Needles for me as well. I literally had to look away when I've had blood taken or received a shot.

Colonoscopy, going to the dentist (bad experiences as a child), and girl on girl action ( I keep watching the stuff to get over it).

"I ain't afraid of dying, it's just the thought of being dead." --from some country song, can't remember the name of the song or who sang it.

Frogs..... Heights, especially airplanes and helicopters. I have the fear that as soon as I step on a plane it's going to crash. Refused to go to my brothers wedding in the Dominican because I couldn't walk in an airport.

I agree on the frog angle. They are just really gross. Not afraid of spiders or snakes or that stuff. Needles are okay, but blood can get me from time to time. Not my own, but other people's blood. I am terrified of teeth, like losing them or kids showing them to me when they have fallen out. (I am a teacher, and they think its funny.)

Not heights, just falling.
Absolutely afraid of carnival rides. If it can be folded up and put into the back of a pickup truck, I’m not going anywhere near it.

open ocean, like where you're in a boat and can see no land at all.

love me some spiders and snakes and everything that creeps in all your crawlspaces. one time i found a 6" wolf spider, caught it and kept it for a week, then let it go.

spiders are the cops of the insect world, and frogs are the politicians.

everytime i see a frog i think of the WB frog.
"hello my baby, hello my honey, hello my ragtime gal..."

I am pretty scared of what they say will happen on Dec 21st. I was terrified for a LONG time about it but now as we get closer I see all the other "end of the world" dates that failed and know its out of my control so it doesn't matter.

That and nothing will happen anyway

[QUOTE=Imac7065;3534088]Funny note on this... Spiders, Snakes, and Sharks are three of the least possible animals to hurt a human being.. but are the most feared.

Try telling that to the people that have been bitten and or killed by these 3 innocent little creatures.

The dark - Seriously, I still have moments where I don't like that partially open door to a dark room at the other side of the house.

I guess that is something primal, we were rightly afraid of the dark when we were prey...

Water. I almost always refuse to swim where I can't feel the bottom of a pool. I almost drowned when I was 8. The worst part was that while I at the bottom of the deep end freaking out, my parents, aunts, and uncles were just about ten feet away from the pool on the patio. After I managed to push off the bottom and grab the pool edge, I just stopped swimming. And my parents were none the wiser for the rest of the day...

And heights. But that's another story for another time...

Spiders... I got bit by a brown recluse when I was in the Marines. The left side of my face swole up to twice it's size and had puss coming out if. The doc had to cut into it and pack it with gauze. Still have a scar on the side of my temple from it. Ever since then I hate spiders lol

I have those oddly random nights where I fear I won't wake up the next morning.

This. I get very anxious in large crowds. I contender people's IQ drops 10 points for every 1000 people in the crowd. Being in Disney at present isn't helping...
