"Country" music right now is terrible. I don't think Swift is good, but she is better than most of the stuff that is passed off as country. I do like that she did a duet with the guy from Snow Patrol, but I love Snow Patrol, so whatever.

A lot of the biggest country acts right now have that crossover appeal (Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry). Not exactly your typical country fare, but it's making the genre much more accessible to people who would've just written it off in the past.

I think I heard Taylor Swift on the local pop station the other day. She sounds terrible, and needs to go back to the days of "Tim McGraw."

Lady A is definitely one of my favorite musical groups at the moment, along with the Zac Brown Band.

Lady A is great...and I see now that they just released a Christmas album this week. Hm. I'm a terrible sucker for Christmas music, but it feels wrong to listen to Christmas music before Halloween. BUT...it's new Lady A. This is a devastating quandary.

I think I need to give it a shot. Cueing it up in Spotify right now
