Talking Rude bicyclist eats pole

Not that kind of pole

Was walking to my building and a guy on a bike went past me. He shouldn't have seeing seeing he had a red light. so he goes by me and almost runs right into me. He turns his head around and yells "watch it a$$hole!" Once second after that, the douche bag rode right into a street light pole. I started laughing my a$$ off and kept walking.

Nice start to the morning

This is so fantastic on so many levels. Bikers are seriously the worst. They are a #@#@#@#@ing nightmare when I go running in Central Park. Thank goodness they just revamped the traffic pattern in the loop around the park so that it's 1/3 pedestrians, 1/3 cyclists, and 1/3 cars. Before, bikes and runners were crammed into the first third and cars had the other two lanes. I felt like I was gonna get clipped every time I went out.

Great story though

Did you see the Yahoo video a few weeks ago of the motorbike guy (caught on security camera) who ran off the road onto a sidewalk and into a lamp post? He was thrown into the side of the building and his bike exploded.

As a recreational rider, I can't stand these @$$hats that buzz around everyone as if they are being inconvenienced by our presence... Karma wins again

I work downtown. In the summer there are a lot of tourists walking around. One day I was going to lunch and I was at a crosswalk waiting for the light. On my left was a family of tourists with a girl, she was maybe 10-years-old or so. When the light changed, everyone started to cross. On my right I noticed a bike messenger flying down the road. He blew through the red and I was just able to grab the girl and pull her back before he clipped her. I yelled at the biker and he actually stopped.

He turned around, dismounted, held up his bike like a shield or weapon or something, and started walking towards me, swearing incoherently.

In an instant, another guy, who I assume was the girl's dad, leaped forward and punched the biker in the face, laying him out. It was like a lightning bolt. He then nodded to me and herded up his family and crossed the street. I got the heck out of there too. I took a second to look back and the biker had managed to get to his feet and was riding off wobbly.

Every time I see a bike blow through stop signs or red lights or graze pedestrians I think of that guy. Total justice.
