David Letterman and Jimmy Fallon Tape Shows With No Audience

Due to the Hurricane...the true test of how funny a comedian really is with no audience to drive the viewing audience.

Letterman has had a more serious tone tonight, but still some good jokes.

Also, it's not as though there's nobody there to laugh. I imagine a few interns are sitting in the crowd laughing and applauding.

Very interesting show, though. I may watch Fallon for a while instead of my usual Craig Ferguson.

Jay Leno on Craig Ferguson = bedtime for me. Ugh, hate Jay.

Is Fallon using a laugh track, or???? Just sounds wrong. Haven't been watching, so I'm not sure if he's shown the crowd.

I thought that at first too but they showed the audience at the beginning of the show (and he thanked them for making the trip).
