I am thankful for having turned in my crappy old cable box.
The new one had to properly calibrate and I got free naughty channels for 2 weeks

So, you will be on a 2 week break from BO and come back with an overused right hand?

Past tense ...

But I'm doubly thankful because
after rolling her eyes at me a few times,
the wife liked it it too

I'm thankful for local card collecting friends. My friend Rob came to my house today & traded a Carl Yastrzemski Yaz Day Autographed poster & cash for more cards. Talked about the Red Sox & laughed about all the bad players I had insert cards of. Had a great time just being with someone who shared the same interests as I did. Its my second Carl Yastrzemski Autograph in 2 months as well.

It is always great to make connections! Congrats on your second Yas auto.

Today, I am thankful that my husband let me sleep in and that he is such a great daddy to our boys.

I am also thankful because I get to leave work 2 hours early tonight! I may be able to catch the end of the late game. I won team player of the year in my depatrment.

Sounds like it has been a pretty good day to be Josie! Way to go

I am thankful for the unsung heroes of our Country (single parents, people working multiple jobs to put food on the table, high school coaches and band directors, etc.) that do so much for others, yet receive so little recognition.

My husband is a jr high wrestling coach so it is nice to see him get some recognition with that thank you! I know he takes a lot of crap from parents who don't understand the sport or why their son isn't starting, etc. He does his best to be fair and give everyone an opprotunity.

Yeah, today has been pretty good.

Lol. Yes, that is a great thing to be thankful for especially if you are in pain. Ironically, the last time I went into the hospital was the Monday after Thanksgiving. Ended up having a 19 day stay. I was worried I was going to be in there for Christmas but I went home with a chest tube in. Imagine trying to shop for presents while walking around the mall trying to conceal a chest tube that would leak. Sneezing was the worst! Plus, I was bald so I sorta looked like Powder. That was a fun year.

Today, I am thankful for getting to spend the day with my boys. After a weekend of work, it is always refreshing to get to spend a whole day with them. Also, I am thankful that I have the opportunity to help out a friend today.

Agreed but I'm afraid we won't know who is President for a week or more which will equal 24/7 news. I'll stick to sports until they figure it out.

Today, I am thankful for another day. So far, it has been a good day with hugs and kisses from the boys. Now, we are watching a movie together.

I'm grateful that I'm one day closer to finishing my first semester in college. Although there's still a month and a half to go
