Default PAPAJIM 2 years 11/22/12

I wanted to get this up tonight. I have to head home for a few days so I wanted to get people thinking about changing their avatars.

On 11/22/12 it will be 2 years since Jim passed. For those who did not know Jim you missed out on knowing a great, funny and caring person.

The sketch in my avatar is a sketch of Jim. Last year we had several hundred members change their avatar for the month. Some have not taken it down. Please partake in flying the papajim avatar this year to remember a great member.

Is always tragic losing someone you know. While I nev had the pleasure of meeting him since I joined in December of that year I do know what the feeling on here is like after hearing of bad news since we experienced something tragic earlier this year.

RIP papajim, these 2 years have been very different since you have moved on.

It is hard to believe that it has been two years. I am sure Jim has them laughing in heaven.

He was an unbelievable encouragement when I had my scare. One of the best and still badly missed.

One person who could always make you smile. I had some very good conversations with him. Always willing to give you advice...with a little humor put into it.

Gave me some of the best advice ever for a married man...always have an extra gift wrapped in the truck of your car for your wife, that way, you never forget any occasion

RIP Papa

I tried to maintain contact with the family. The only way I had to do so was through his daughters account here. She has not responded.

Thank you everyone. Jim was just such a great guy. It's funny that none of us ever met him yet feel so strongly about him. That's who he was and that says a lot about him. I could only hope that I would have that affect on someone.

RIP Jim

The calling out/BS threads aren't the same without him "throwing a pot of coffee on" in them. The really long battles sometimes needed "an extra pot" RIP Bro

I was here during his time but never knew him. Sounds like a stand up guy.

Didn't know he fought cancer - I hate the very word to the bottom of my heart.

I'll fly his avatar out of respect for the month without hesitation.

My favorite post of his was when he went off on non-payers, calling it "a**hole layaway". I still think of that phrase when it comes up.

RIP to a great member
