Waited Thursday 10:30pm to 1:30 am for gas. I figured if I waited once and filled up my wife's car and a jug, we would be fine until the power came back. We still have that jug full, one car with a full tank and the other car with 1/2 tank left.

There is no shortage, only a small amount being distributed to the public. Conspiracy theories...

Although I do have to say that it makes me wonder where people are driving to when you still have a lot of repairing to do

NJ in certain counties are under gas rationing. I live in one county under the ration rules and the morons here are lining up waiting 2hours++ at the Wawa down the street from my place and a town over. Drive 15 mins southwest and you can get gas without a wait. Lmfao!!!!

Went to WallyWorld today to restock on some items. They finally were restocking dairy and meat departments you would think it was the end of the world.

Then I had to step in to break up a fight over some generators they just brought out. The poor teenage associate was pleading with the people he had two more pallets of them in the back he just had to go get them.

I live in West Orange and they are rationing out gas to certain people each day. Right now 70% of the town has power so more gas stations should start opening up a little each day.

I waited 3 hours and 35 minutes!!!

It shouldn't be much longer now with all the gas coming in.... as much as these idiots in the street would love for this parade to last, it will all be over real soon, probably in the next few days. People just love it when they have an "event" for their stupid ass to be part of smh they have nothing better to do. The worst ones are the people who are filling up gas for their two and three cars They don't even need the gas, but just take it away from everybody else who actually needs it. Then they drive around to get a show and see all the distruction SMFH F**#*$R*# idiots. These should carpool like EVERYBODY ELSE!!! Or if they wanna help so much, they should lend somebody their extra car, or have a family member of theirs drive it and help people out with where they gotta go. These types of people get me sick! They think this world revolves around their ass

It is not about a shortage of gas. There are still thousands of barrels of gasoline under the gas stations. The problem is they need power to pump it.

I was in Bristol last week and gas was a lot cheaper there than here. Even cheaper when I got to Chattanooga.

finally got gas last night. My mom actually waited 6-7 hours yesterday, and the station she waited at only got diesel. Someone in line found out that another station down the road ended up getting some. She went and 20 minutes later had gas. Called me up, and I waited 45 minutes and got gas as well. Price for it was 4.69 a gallon for regular, which is crazy, but I wouldn't have made it home last night, and definitely wouldn't have made it to work the rest of the week, so had to do it....

Around a 30 minute wait for gas cans, an hour for car fill ups at a number of places near me in north jersey. I visited my girlfriend in PA this weekend because she had power and I filled up my car with no wait.

Hopefully everything goes back to "normal" in a week or so.

Western Massachusetts, I take the bus. No need to fillup on gas, however, most gas stations have very little waits, and gas is around $3.50/gallon. We never lost power during the storm, and got very lucky. The areas around us got hit much harder than we did. I feel bad for you guys in New Jersey, glad you are safe.

I live in Jersey City, just got power five minutes ago. The gas lines are pretty long, luckily my dad works overnight for the turnpike and could get gas on the way to work/back when the lines are shorter.
