paypal 45 days to file claim question

So I posted about a items delivery status not updated a month or so ago and i thought the buyer was going to file a claim

delivery status not updated ?

Anyways at 8:47pm est tonight will be exactly 45 days since he paid me for the card. Will i be completely safe from any claim or chargeback? Or can he still screw me over somehow?

After he messaged me that he never got the card I have not heard from him since. I have been afraid to message him because I didn't want to remind him or anything. I mean the card was in the post office it was to be delivered to before the status thing came up and it had signature confirmation.

You are safe from paypal, but he can file a chargeback with his creditcard within 60 days I believe.

I don't know if he used a cc or anything, he paid instantly with paypal if that means anything.

$350.. i like a idiot didn't get insurance but I did purchase signature confirmation and the item was never signed for. I am assuming he got it though since the last spot was in the PO where the PO box where he was getting the card. He has not sent me another message or anything since Oct. 14th.

This is only if you paid with a credit card right? he paid me with paypal. Am i missing something?

I pay for all my PayPal payments with my linked credit card - you aren't safe for a while still if they used their CC through PayPal

I actually had the same issue happen to me. Member paid for an item and then we have been going through a process for weeks about his item. If it is past 45 days, they can still get the money back?

After having read the thread you linked, I suggest you call that PO again, explain the situation and see if you can get a copy of the signed signature confirmation they told you they have on file. Assuming they have it and its genuine, I would think that consititues fraud or mail fraud if he tries to chargeback. GL
