As a HUGE fan of animation, I can honestly tell you that no one is "too old" for spongebob or an other cartoon.

32 years old here....

There is nothing wrong with watching SpongeBob.

I hope she does not watch 16 and pregnant or Jersey Shore. Now, those shows are trash!

Spongebob has a ton of adult humor hidden in the dialogue of the episode. Being the father of 3 with one on the way, spongebob is welcomed break from Disney junior.

That being said, it's a funny #@#@#@#@ing show!

You can never be too old for Spongebob. I'm a senior in High school too and I'm watching it right now. Spongebob is way better than the vast majority of "adult" shows that are on today. The new episodes don't compare to the old ones though. The Regular show is pretty awesome too.

Disagree, since he said then, it implies parentheses around everything else. So it is still 0.

I will admit I watch it with my kids, sometimes it can be annoying with Spongebob's laugh but the show is amusing and does even make me laugh at times. I wouldn't say it's age restricted.....would love to see another movie in theatres.

Use to watch Spongebob with my 3 year old - but it was "too" much for her. I liked the show though. So know I'm a Curious George & Rug Rats watching Pops!

Interesting that she likes old school Rugrats (Netflix) - but it's her favorite show.

And I agree - your never too old for cartoons! I like watching Futurama, Marvel cartoons, Vash the Stampede, etc.

I'm a junior in high school. Still watch the occasional Spongebob, iCarly, etc.

It's only weird if you watch it religiously and talk about it all the time. I would never say to my friends, "Guys, did you watch iCarly last night?!" I save that for shows like The Walking Dead, The League, The Office, and shows like those.

New Ninja Turtles isn't too bad. Having a 2 year old helps but I would watch it anyways.

Also making up for lost time since my mom hates cartoons

I should try to get my son into Sponge Bob. He is really into Wonder Pets. That show drives me insane. I felt like murdering someone within the first 2 mintues.

I think cartoons are ageless regardless of what people try to tell you. That is why they started doing animation for adults (The Simpsons, Adventure Time, Anime, etc.)
