Default How Old is TOO OLD for Spongebob?

So apparently my sister (who is a senior in high school) still watches Spongbob on a daily basis.

I didn't say anything but is this weird to anyone else?

She's not stupid or anything just seems like a sign of the times maybe?

I am a sophomore in high school and i still watch it every now and then.

i wasn't aloud to watch cartoons like that as a kid. Was that the case in her situation?

I feel like i am inclined to watch it because i am making up for the fact that i couldn't watch it as a child.

You can never be too old for Spongebob.

I still watch cartoons. All the time. Plus, I'm older than you and your sister added together, minus your uncle, divided by your aunt and then multiplied by your cat.

That's the truth, truth. I'd be more worried if she wasn't watching it.

I'm a senior in high school, and still watch it. Heck, my moms boyfriend, who is 50, still watches Spongebob with his kids, who are also in high school

So is Spongebob just not like cartoons when I was growing up (Which wasn't THAT long ago)?

For example, if I were still watching say Darkwing Duck when I was a senior that wouldn't be weird?

I don't watch Spongebob, but I love watching Regular Show and Adventure Time, and I'm in my 20's.

I do things like that too sometimes, there are things we couldnt do as a child and I believe that's why we sometimes act in a childish manner

I bet she would be very dissapointed if she found out...lol

As for me I watch spongebob every now and then, but I like Phineas and ferb a lot and I'm 18 so I guess the answer is if you really like it then there's never really an age limit to watching cartoons

Hell, I am in my 40s and think those are some of the funniest shows on TV. Spongebob, Adventure Time, ICarly, Zeke and Luther (no longer on) and Victorious.
