My blowout order just showed up, a Star Wars box and a few boxes of 2011 crown, oh man I can't wait to open these, and I'm hoping I have some self control to spread them out over a few days so the anticipation should grow.

It seems from the posts I've read here that Haiku's main purpose is being achieved. Other posters are doing good things in their immediate surroundings as a result of the simple little good things he does here... Funny how that works.
I hope he forever remains anonymous because this could be the start of some ripple effects that reach farther than any of us can imagine. All because of a card-board message-board. Perhaps Virginia, there is indeed a Santa Claus....and he lives within all of us. Sometimes he just needs a little motivation to load the sleigh. Again, for reasons too numerous to burden a keyboard with, thanks for this thread. It was needed today.. For me anyway.

I got no mail today.
Sprained my Pinkie finger playing baseball; sprained it 2 months ago agains people 4 years older in a tourny and my thumb 3 weeks ago, all same throwing hand. Got back from school after walking home.

To see the many great threads about and created by Haiku is very refreshing. Don't want to be entered, just thought it was really nice to see a person who truly wants to do nice things for others. Many kudos Haiku.

Just got back from my sons playoff football game
They went undefeated in the reg season so they got a first round bye Tonight's game was incredible!!!!! All out grind fest that ended in a 6-6 tie!!! THAT MEANS OVERTIME!!!!!! Both teams got a possession on the 10...they went 9 yards in 3 quick plays so its 4th and inches and our D line stopped them on 4th down!!! Now it's our turn...1st and 10....Flag false start back it up to the 15 now 1st and 15...5 yard run Now 2nd and 10....9 yard run BUTTTTT HOLDING ON THE 10 yard line so back it up to the 20!!!! Soooo now 2nd and 20 to go!!!! Short run again for 5 3rd and 15....no gain ughhhhhhh 4th and 15....get in or going to another overtime on th other side of the field.... Ball is snapped, rush is to the right, the kids shoe falls off and he breaks 2 tackles and has an open field......TD!!!!!!! They win and move on!!! I'm so freaking pumped right now!!!!! Now it's time to get some wings and watch the Fins!!!!

Today, drove around and took 1/2 pints, packs of smokes,lighters and white boards to the people at freeway intersections with thier card board signs..
True story.. its gonna start raining this weekend and we all know the $$ they get from our car windows goes to this first. at least now they have what they want and can spend the change on food.. |

Today I fought the soccer mom brigade tooth and nail to just drop my kids off and pick my kids up from school...those women can't drive...at all.

woke up at 4am went to work on a catering truck till 3pm stopped at wal mart bought my kids 1 box of topps nfl 2012 came home hugged my kids gave them the box drinking a cold beer as i wright this and gonna watch the football game..go to bed and repeat.

Why don't we do something like this for haiku: We all put in $10 + and when the Andrew Luck Superfractor comes around, we buy it as a site, and give it to him for being awesome!
