I know where you're coming from man. My wife and I both have decent paying jobs, she works for the State and I work Federal, but it takes awhile to get over that hump. It's $100 per week for the babysitter for my son. Next door neighbor watches him at a discount for us, so I can sleep since I work overnights. I can't sleep right now though. So stressed.

Today I woke up and kissed my beautiful wife and told her good morning. Then I hugged our awesome dog, Rocky, who is a year old boxer. After that I took my usual morning residency upon the porcelain throne and then occupied the shower for about fifteen minutes. From there I went to the kitchen and ripped an apple in half with my bare hands and headed to the office. I will now be heading to lunch in order to fuel myself for this afternoons events which possibly, but not confirmed, will leave me in a forest throwing plastic discs at chain baskets. Then I will prepare to celebrate my one year anniversary with my wife at her parents timeshare in Myrtle Beach.

I guess you just caught me on a good day and KUDOS to you sir for being generous in this wonderful season.

Ah gotcha, that's a good deal for you then. Just keep your head up, things get better as long as you keep plugging away at it. It sounds like you're doing the right thing and taking care of your responsibilities, eventually it's all gonna work out.

I'm not one to be the greatest advice giver, but if you ever need any, I'm willing to listen.

I appreciate that. I have made alot of bad money choices in the past few months when it comes to this hobby. I have been wholly incapable of turning down a good deal. I have slowed down my buying considerably recently because I could see myself getting into trouble. It's time for me to take a step back and realize that pieces of cardboard should stop running my life.

Finally had a day off. Enjoying some time with the son and the grandparents. Looking forward to this weekend off, even though I love my job. It's been hectic as of late, but I love giving back to the people who allow us to have the freedoms we have in this country. GO USA!

Sounds like me EJ. I get my check and feel good until I sit down and do the bills and realize there is barely enough there to go around. I quit working OT since I don't get paid for it when I am owed it, which puts me even more behind.

I was actually at Target last night, apparently they have started selling a skirt for Elf on a Shelf if you wanna turn it into a woman elf lol.

We just bought ours last year after xmas, so I'll be breaking it out here soon

It's always a struggle. I would never ask to be rich, I just want to make enough so that my family can live more comfortable. I am making it my mission in life to ensure that my children go to a good college and that they don't have to work so damn hard to get by.
