Default Getting iPhone 5 tommorow, best case ?

Getting an iphone 5 tommorow, IYO, what is the best case I can get ? Or if you have links to reviews of different cases that would work too. Will probably get the case that most people say is the best. Looking for one that isn't too bulky and also one that protects the camera well. On my current iphone (no case) the camera got so scratched up and messed up from rubbing against keys and other stuff that it is extremely blurry and barely works. I also have dropped it several times and the back is cracked pretty badly. Also would like a case that protects well from minor drops and falls like from waist level onto concrete/asphault.

You can never go wrong with the Otterbox. Here is a link to their website:

Otterbox Commuter. Not completely sure if they produced it yet for the iPhone 5. But I use it on my 4s and its great. The defender series is ridiculously bulky and is like carrying a first generation Gameboy in your pocket.

I like using Speck Candyshell cases. They are fantastic. I have dropped it so many times I've lost count and its in almost perfect condition.

I'm on my 3rd iPhone (meaning upgrades) - I've never cracked one.

I'm sure I will now tonight - but I've never had a case - never needed one.

I remember being disappointed when I first discovered I had bought the Commuter instead of the Defender for my iPhone 5 but after looking at it again the Defender looks too bulky, I agree.

The Commuter offers solid protection and keeps the phone lightweight, and you can buy screen protectors to make up for the lack of a built in screen cover that the Defender offers.

I still protect it (the phone) with my life though. I'd been used to using "free" phones all my life.

Yeah I'm still trying to figure out why Apple opts for a glass backing. Seems like you're asking for trouble.

The new iPhone has less glass than the last one though.

Never been a fan of the otterboxes since I don't like how they make the iPhone a lot bigger and I'm not really reckless with my phone. My 4 uses a case from casecrown, and they make pretty nice cases that don't add too much bulk.

i have iphone 5 with camo/orange otterbox, used my ebay bucks to get it

3 things I do not like

-If you have big finger, the volume cut out is hard to turn off and on
-And I the phone does not fit tight in the case, can feel it move which sorta bothers me since I paid 60 bucks for it
-Belt clip has chewed into rubber siding, not really a issue but as if they did not measure accurately when making these>>>see above

Otterbox Defender Case for iPhone 5 Blaze Orange Real Tree Camo | eBay

WOuld have bought the lifeproof case, but it was not out soon enough and I paid a lot for the 64gb version and i drop my phone a lot haha

I have this one: Belkin - Grip Candy Sheer Case for Apple® iPhone® 5 - Blue/Gray - F8W138TTC08 - Best Buy

Quality protection. Not bulky at all. Overall great IMO. I also added a high quality screen protector as well. Short of stepping on it face down, this case is plenty of protection.
My wife has an otter box and it makes the phone the size of an iPad. Not worth it IMO.
