Default A Poll with Relevance. What is your favorite part of a traditional thanksgiving meal

Forget, football, family, other goofy traditions. Just the meal.

Got to go with gravy. I end up putting it on most everything else on my plate

My vote was for other because I really enjoy the parades. I like to watch the Macys Parade & our own Texas Thanksgiving Parade that they have in Houston. After those it's on to football then food for our family here, turkey being the best thing to eat aside from the pies.

Man I am going to miss thanksgiving this year, I'd have to say turkey. I only have turkey on thanksgiving, the other stuff I have a lot of throughout the year.

I think it has to be the right stuffing cooked just the right way. My mom always cooked ours in the turkey and make it from scratch. It is delish. Do you eat yours smothered in gravy?

Me, too! My father-in-law makes the best mashed potatoes I have ever had. I had to attend a birthday party last week over our planned lunch date at his house and I made my husband promise he would bring me some home. I literally ate them in less than a minute. Not my proudest moment.

Apple butter is a staple around here to have on biscuits.

My favorite part of a thanksgiving dinner: when it ends and everybody leaves. Then I take a nice nap and watch reruns of Fraser.

With 30 people at every thanksgiving dinner, it gets pretty #@#@#@#@ing hectic.

Seriously, though, I love mashed potatoes.
