Default 5 years cancer free!
I just got back from the oncologist and I am happy to report I am officially cancer free for 5 years!

Now, off to the pulminary specialist next week to get my lung disease under control. It is an unfortunate toxic reaction from the one type of chemo I was on. It is chronic and irriversable but I am hoping to still run a 5k in a year or two.

My sister has been cancer free about the same time, tons of stress for everyone. Glad to hear your beating it, now just take care of the lung disease!

I am glad she is cancer free, too! Yeah, I often thought it was harder on my family than it was me.

My sister was the same way, she is a tough chick. We were all freaked out and she was just worried about her three girls. I hope I never have to fight cancer, but people who do, my hat goes off to them.

Congrats!! I am overdue to have my blood work done by my oncologist, as it's been awhile seen my last visit and as the years pass I tend to get laxed

But knock on wood I am going on 'C' free for 27 years now!

I am always concerened with my target cells and lymph nodes, hence why I have not gone to get my blood tested which is really a very poor excuse!

Thanks for your post as it's got me ready to schedule my much needed next visit.
