Default My contractor has balls of steel part 2

I'm sure it wasn't the owner, or the 2 guys that finished up the project(who seemed like they were his go-to guys)....but...

Those guys were telling my wife that when they originally did our project, there were 5 of em. 1 of them quit the first day, the other shortly after.

So, I'm going to assume it was the guy who quit after the first day...but one of those white trash piece of "poops" stole my gosh damn silverware.

We skipped town last night, and when we got back today we started putting all of our kitchen stuff back in.

Well, we put away every box and the only box missing was the one with our silverware. Which that's an inaccurate term since it's stainless steel, but still. Who the hell jacks people's cutlery? I don't get it. Of course I'm telling the owner...and we were planning on buying new stuff anyway...but it's the principle.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'll go back to tearing my entire house up looking to see if something else is missing since I've got bugs in my head.

You need to report it to the police. Crimes need to be punished on every level. Ive already reported nuggets and hog to the feds. Them 2 need to be stopped.

So i was right when I said check everything else. Not only should it be reported, but i would contact the owner first, and let him know what went on (both incidents), and inform him you'll then be talking to the police (about the silverware, unless the workers were underage, then I highly recommend reporting it as in our contorted legal system, you provided alcohol to a minor). I agree, there is no room for thieves.

Call the Police and the Owner and advise him that you will be filing charges. If the Owner is honest then he will be rid of some bad apples. Thieves take advantage of the fact that most people will not go to the trouble of pressing charges.

On a more serious note, definitely call the police and get the federation involved. I completely agree with you. The principle of the matter is the most important. And of course keep us updated as I would like to see how this plays out and I hope things go your way!

also file a complaint with the BBB. Even if the owner is not involved and did not know. A commander is always responsible for his troops.

Oh when we sold our house and were packing up to move this past June, I found our silverware. You can all call the dogs off and sleep easy now.
