I played online regularly while I was at college as well as weekly trips to the Sands in Bethlehem. Not high stakes, but I know the game well.

Only play house games now, few times a month. Not as easy to find games since I've moved back home.

No Limit Hold 'Em only, don't know anything about Omaha or stud or anything like that.

Well I am close with 2 (multiple) WSOP bracelt winners, A WSOP Circuit Double bracelet winner and 3 or 4 more who make their living as poker professionals.

meh..id use this as a last resort....ive played a little poker there after getting "kicked off" the Merge network (for complete bs reasons without a way to talk/challenge it)

Cake/Lock?revolution network..whatever it is...is still accepting US players as far as i know...but id be weary as ive seen/read things about vanishing deposits, withdrawal issues etc

merge Network is the best way to go imo..and if not for said communication error, id still be playing there (RPM, Carbon, i forget what other skins there are)...but software is pretty decent and supposedly they have better deposit options and are getting better at withdrawals...

Bovada is nothing but 2 types of people:

A- sports bettors who are looking to gamble, and dont really care about "how" to play poker and dont care if they win or lose..jsut want to play and gamble

B- sharks who try and aim to take all of said A types money

the only problem with Bovada and that makes it extremely hard...is that there are no screen names...simply Player 1, Player 2 so on etc..

with other sites and screen names you can take notes on gameplay etc and know how to play against them if you see them in the future...

Bovada is a crap shoot because you never know who it is and what type of player the are until halfway through whatever game you are playing...and then in the next game, it could be a completely new set of people, or the same..you just never know

I just lost a couple hundo to an old lady at Hard Rock Tampa yesterday. She kept calling and calling me until she hit trips on the river with her pocket pair. I had two pair from the flop....... She even told me that she shouldn't call but had nothing better to do. LOL

i love people who do that. call and call, i never get mad. they pay me off in the long run. lol i play for a living so anyone who has any questions feel free to ask away, this is normally 50 an hour for my students. but this being a forum and all we can discuss hands. if you play on line we could teamviewer your plays and find leaks.
thanks

You know I play, lol. I used to play MSNL, 200NL and 400NL primarily, but now I play micros now because I don't trust the sites with my money. If I lose a few hundred in a bankroll, I don't really care. If I lose a few thousand like I did on FTP, I'd be ticked ... at myself for having that much online in a clearly unsafe environment. Plus, if I lose my bankroll on Lock, I have made significantly more than I deposited, so I don't mind.

I know a fair amount of people from the Leggo forums, but don't frequent the site or circle of friends much anymore. Feel free to PM me any questions though.

Revolution or merge. They both serve several "skins". You play the same players on different skins. This helps fill the tables. I'm up over $150,000 in online tournaments. Hit me up if you have any questions.
