weird request when trading

just curious the other day i was asked to skype to work out a deal instead of typing messages..is this the new fad or just an odd occurance..i mean it seems logical to see the person actually has the card..but it still dont mean they would ship lol

It's a little odd, but I do see the advantage of actual negotiating in a conversation like this or over a phone. Nobody who is actually negotiating anything important would be trying to do it over messages like we do.

It makes sense IMO, just not something you hear about very often (or at all for that matter).

Personally, I'd much rather negotiate in person (or some form of live communication) than by message.

yeah i mean if someone has a 1000 dollar card looking to trade and you skype and you see its a 10 year old kid...it would be able to toss up flags quicker..and i know id love to see the peoples reactions because alot of people can tell when your lying and its hard to scam me for a card you cant physically produce during a skype convo..its easy to doctor pictures but i think it would be harder to scam when you must show the picture in live time lol

I was going to chime in about a weird request of a deer femur bone for your dog but then releized it was a different type weird
