Default how many of you sit on the net all day looking for deals?

I've been doing that a lot more this year, and it has been fun. Does anyone of you as a full/part time gig, just stay online and look for deals? What does that look like in your life? Does it pay the bills?

go over to slickdeals website there are people over there that pay all of their bills doing exactly what your talking about

check out the staples gift card for purchase of a american express gift card or something like that. potentially huge money maker.

its over with now but people were making like 150 dollars per staples store. i think it was 30 dollar staples gift card for every 200 spent in american express gift cards or something like that.

then they would cash out the express gift cards then just go do it again at another store.

Thanks for the heads up on this place, had never heard of it. Decided to pop in a search for a Christmas gift I was going to buy for my son and got a $50 item for $24 with free shipping! Sweet! Many thanks!

You should have been doing it back in the late 90s when the whole e-commerce thing was just starting and retailers were offering insane discounts. Combine that with easy-to-abuse promotions (coupon stacking, multiple accounts, price mistakes usually not getting cancelled, etc...). Fun times...

Those were the good days. I remember when travelzoo first started up. If you supported them and signed up for news, they gave you 1 share /portion of the stock. I remember people making a ton of accounts and inviting their own accounts to stack the redemption.
