Here are a few of my pet peeves, feel free to post yours here.

People who put pscking tape, not scotch tape on top loaders.

People who who get mad when you offer ebay price on an overpriced card.

People who tell you that "your trolling" when you catch them in the act (bostonnut will understand this one)

Threads that are like "i got 8.69, looking for an auto" 1. People never check them 2. They think there gonna get a brady auto for $10

People that whine.

GOODBYE letters I have only been here since Aug, and everyone who writes a letter saying bye to the hobby is back in less than 2 weeks

People that offer you 20% OR LESS of Ebay sales after they agree to buy the cards and then complain they won't make a return on investment and are getting taken advantage of.

My peeve is everyone is "selling out" or "quitting the hobby"...over and over and over again!

one of my big ones is: people opening boxes, cases even and just looking for the hits

I'd have to say one of mine is when you see a great box break and the person posting states that they don't even collect/like this sport but their LCS didn't have anything for their sport :rolleyes:

People who get, for absolutely free, a box of cards, and then complain when they don't get anything good. I mean, you got the box for free. It's impossible to lose in that situation.

People asking me what I would pay for a card, then taking that information and trying to get more for it somewhere else thinking they could always come back to me and get that same amount if all else fails.

people that offer $100 or more less than what a card sells for at BIN

also people that post "i'm looking for player x or team lot x" then don't have the decency to check their threads afterwards......hell i even sent you a pm you could at least say no thanks

The unnecessarily high amount of trolls and whiners here. High-end snobbists. People that buy boxes then complain when they don't get 3x their money back.

somebody selling to another user because they offered .50 more than you did on a card.

Slow shippers...been dealing with a TON of those lately.

You would never hear me complain about a free box!


Ebay 1/1 is my big pet peeve right now.

People who are interested in a very high end card of mine and ask me to check their bucket and they have zero cards that are even in the ballpark of the card they want from me. Also when they have interest in a Drew Brees RC AUTO I have or a nice Kobe Bryant Logo patch and they only offer cards they don't want for it.

Hate that too, if I have an offer on a card and someone else is interested, you need to beat it by $5 or it goes to the first offer

Peeple who can't spel good or have not well gramer.

People who take a baseball card forum WAY too seriously!

I agree with that. Box breaks, grab bags, or whatever you want to call them on ebay bug me too. I'm glad I finally figured out about the subtracting them from the search.

My pet peeve is someone who complains about what I am posting and they have the solution right there at thier fingertips in the ignore feature. Yet they make the active choice not to use the ignore feature but they still complain about my posts. Sorry, I dont feel bad for people who wont take the proper steps to solve a problem they are a having.

My biggest pet peeve is people asking double or even triple going ebay prices for their cards in a purchase. Why do I have to buy the same card from you for $40.00 when I can buy the card on ebay for $15.00? It makes no sense, common people, be a little competitive in your pricing.

My pet peeve are those people who always have to have something negative to complain about in their life. You will notice they are the type to change everything they can on their profile (ebay name, comc name, sig, etc) to involve the current situation that they have latched onto for negativity. The added bonus is the fact that they say they don't care at all but that is a flat-out lie being that they don't just let it go. Negative things happen in my life and I don't want to dwell on them I just move on.
