So the other day I was reading an email from a professor when I clicked on something that started what appeared to be a download. Not sure what I clicked but it started to download. However, nothing has downloaded and the download sign is still at the top of my phone and will not go away. I am the type of person who likes my top bar clear of updates or anything so nothing is there so I really would like this gone. Anyone know what to do?
I've tried restarting the phone, taking out the battery and a few others. LMK

Yeah I tried swipping it won't move. I saw the factory reset option before but that is just a pain in the rear end and don't want to do that if I don't have to. Really hoping to avoid it at all costs.
