iMac or PC?
Which do you prefer and why? And don't hesitate to rep it in your avatar!
Ps. If you want to show your support for iMac here's a link to an avatar. Let the revolution begin http://www.simplifiedcomputers.com/images/imac_logo.gif |
Imac is the clear choice imo. It's cheap and easily replaceable.
|
Depends on your needs. iMacs are fancy, but nothing you can't get in a PC for a couple hundred bucks cheaper.
|
Ive updated my avatar to the "apple bum". for my support of a superior product.
|
theres one particular Imac here that sucks but other than that ive heard theyre pretty reliable machines.
|
Now that is one apple I'd really like to take a bi......
Err. Nevermind. An apple a day...doctor's orders!
Ive updated my avatar to the "apple bum". for my support of a superior product.
|
I've never owned a MAC, but reading I have done in Marketing suggest that Apple products are inferior, but because of superior branding, cult following and visual appeal their products outsell their competition.
A classmate who works in the mobile industry told me that iPhones are far inferior to their competitors and with all things considered should fail as they compete. More evidence at the incredible ability of Mr. Jobs. |

Unless your reading and your friend is taking user experience into account, you're not getting the whole story. |
Can't go wrong with an Imac since an Imac is never wrong...
|
Boy, you all like this IMac guy a lot huh?

An iMac is a computing device sir. Not a person. Silly |
What?
I like iMacs MacBooks iPods iPhones iPads Anything apple
oh, I see. I like oranges. I also like PC's and Androids...you know, stuff that lets me accomplish the same things as your stuff but costs me less to do it. I thought you were asking if we preferred the guy with Imac as his name or someone who is PC. You better be careful, that Imac guy might report you for using his name as your picture. |

I can get reported to representing the greatest computer ever made? That makes no sense. That'd be like someone that works at panini reporting someone for having an upper deck card as their avatar. |
A lot of people say Apples are fast but trust me IMacs are slow.
|
there is a user Imac7065 or something like that...
yes, I was being obtuse. I knew what you meant. |
iMac. PCs are very virus happy. Wouldn't switch for anything. I guess Apple brands loyalty into their products too huh?
|

I used to have an iMac...that thing was very versatile. It must have been dropped many times as a young computer baby because that thing could fling around the back of my car.....and I could always trust it to read my cds and log on to porn websites. :) |

While yes, it is true that PC's are more susceptible to getting viruses (virii?), it is simply because there are so many more of them out there. I mean think, if you're going to go through the trouble of writing a virus to disrupt people, you're going to target the largest userbase...if you're going phishing, same thing. In reality though, I dont know too many people who have gotten even one virus on their PC. |
90% of the time my Imac works everytime.

Odd, I can say the opposite |

I would take those odds 75% of the time. |
