I haven't read the story, but this makes sense to me. You don't mess with someones pork! I almost divorced my wife when she ate my last bacon strip.

I could see this happening over some chicken wings, but pork is gross.

That, or maybe I just don't like it. I would rather have turkey plus turkey is healthier. I do like pulled pork sandwiches but it has to be made the right way (hot bbq sauce).

It's got to be the right bacon though. I like the peppered bacon myself on a burger with carmalized onions. (No im not a health nut, I just like to take care of myself and plurge once in a while).

Boneless pork loin... sliced 3/4 inch thick... on the grill... almost but not quite as good as a ribeye... still very good

pork loin is actually my least favorite, I would still try it as I try almost anything but I doubt im going to blown away by it.
