Geez, as a fan of hip hop, Kanye seemed completely out of place. Douche chills for him for sure....Billy bringing the show back on track!

HaHaHa Thank God it's over, when you look at all the great talent assembled for this concert, how in the name of God did they allow that clown to perform is beyond me, but it was great too see when he left there was very little acknowledgement.

He's out on stage with a bunch of other stars, helping raise funds for Sandy. Y'all are in your houses, complaining about a free concert. Something wrong with this picture?

Chill out and enjoy the concert.

I was streaming it while I was drawing last night. While I'll agree with above that we shouldn't complain because it was essentially a "free" concert for us, I thought most of it sucked.

I missed the beginning, but I turned it on when Clapton started. No wonder they call him Slowhand - can't he play any of his old songs at the proper tempo any more? I've never heard Kanye West before and I hope I never do again. That was hands-down the worst thing I've ever listened to in my life. And the whole Grohl/Novaselic/McCartney combo was a letdown. Not even one Nirvana song? How can you get two guys from that band back on stage together for the first time in 20 years and NOT play a Nirvana song? Paul even commented that he found himself in the middle of a Nirvana reunion... then they proceeded to play everything but.

I will say The Who stole the show, they're amazing. And although I'm not a fan, I thought Chris Martin and The Stones also did a good job.

Opening was the best part with Springsteen and then he and Bon Jovi doing Born to Run together. Sax solo wasn't the same for me without Clarence but still enjoyed hearing one of the greatest songs ever. After that I started flipping channels. Still, the fact of the matter is it was a lot of people getting together for a great cause so no one should really complain.

Why did they have a concert when Sandy was a cat 1 hurricane? In 04 Florida was hit by 3 or 4 hurricanes. I started school in the first Monday in August and we didn't complete a full week of school til the last week in September. I lost my roof. Millions of dollars in damage, people died and we lost most of our beaches. We had no concert. What about hurricane Andrew and Katrina? I know they had an hour special but not 6 hours.
