Hello eveyone,
Just wondering what a good Kids/Family game is for the Nintendo Wii. We got our boys a Wii for X-mas (ages 6 & 10), I got them Wii Sports, Wii Carnival, Super Mario Bros. which I am sure they will like, but just want to know if anyone has any suggestions as to a good game the whole family can play. Please let me know. Thanks Mike Last edited by Aug06; 12-13-2012 at 08:02 AM. |

At first I read it as WWII. Was thinking that's kind of weird he is looking for WWII games for his kids but whatever.
Can't go wrong with Mario Kart, Super Mario, and Wii Sports.

Wii party is fun...I still play with my 7 1/2 and 10 1/2 year old...my 4 23/24 year old can go most of it on her own, but will occasionally need help on some of the mini games...
Raving Rabids - I forgot which one I have is fun too...esp since you have boys, if they are into semi-rude gross behavior...you basically set up how many mini games you want to compete with each other...shaking up a can and drinking it and seeing whose character will burp the longest, shopping cart races, fart wars, etc... both are good multiplayer games 1-4 players...I would suggest getting 4 total controllers so it can be a family fun time Believe both are under $20 on Amazon...

Mario Kart for sure! Also Wii Resorts was fun. You need the motion plus for that game.
If it isn't out of budget also pick up the balance board and get the fit games. There are a ton of mini-games on them you can challenge your kids to.

download Super C from the old games store (don't have a wii so I don't know the name of the game marketplace). This is a game my father and I played together on our old Nintendo, and whenever I visit we still get a game or two in on his wii.
Side scrolling shooter, sequel to Contra.

Your kids might enjoy the Lego titles, like Star Wars, Batman, etc. Mario Baseball is also a pretty popular title around my home.
