My mom past on 12-12-12
 

I havent been on here much over the past few months. I lost my dad on may, 16, 2011 and my mom moved in with us. Well a long story short she was diagnosed with breast cancer in september. The cancer took her down quick and we have basically spent the last 2 months taking care of her hand and foot because she was bed ridden. Sad to say she lost the fight on the morning of 12-12-2012. we are haveing the services tomorrow. Just wanted to share. Once we get all this behind us i will be back looking for deals. Mike

I lost my father eight years ago and my mother about two and a half years ago. I know the anguish, guilt and fear you're dealing with. Believe me though that this is true: someday, it may take a year or two, you will use it to gain strength. You'll be faced with a challenge at some point, and something will click. That click will be "I've been through so much more difficult and so much more hurtful than this, I've got [i]this[/i]."

Losing your parents is one of the most painful things than can happen to anyone, perhaps outside of losing a child. You'll realize at some point you've triumphed and no other challenge you face will compare. It will make you stronger.

Very sorry to hear this. Lost my dad to cancer a few years ago. It is hard to witness. My thoughts are with you.
