G.I. Joe Movie

I saw it over the weekend. Quick review

Dumb, yet fun.

There were boatloads of special effects and computer graphics. Very comic booky, and the action was insane in parts.. They totally loved to blow stuff up. It was a corny predictable plot, but fun to watch.. Especially the red-headed Joe.

HOT!

The end left it open for a sequel and if they do it with as much action, I'll watch it too. Little kids might find it tough to follow, but they'll love watching the Joe's in action.

I made my nephew go see this, lol.

Oddly enough instead of going with sports stuff (I couldn't decided and didn't want to actually have to spend anything) I actually ended up ordering Ray Park Snake-Eyes and Darth Maul autographed photos with that Steiner special.

I just wish they had kept things more faithful to the cartoon (I heard it was more based on the comics?)...it's like they went part of the way but then added stupid (character's pasts, relations). Upon seeing the commercials I hated the whole super-suit thing but that chase was pretty cool. Well, the first thing I hated from the first looks of the movie were that the Baroness didn't have an accent. Wtf? I would have just made it more campy since they already went that way.

Yes, Rachel Nichols looks amazing as a redhead!

I wanna see it pretty bad.

I know it will be completely brainless, but as long as it's fun, I don't care.

I already heard some of the things they changed or altered for the movie, but I'm not such a staunch traditionalist Joe fan that it's going to matter much. I do still think Cobra Commander looks RIDICULOUS!!!

Right, it isn't.

I figured the Brendan Fraser cameo was because the movie was directed by the guy that directed the Mummy movies. Maybe they put him in there for the inevitable sequel.
