Twins had too many men on the field before the run scored, they should disallow the run.
Oh wait wrong sport, congrats Twins, your reward is a date with the Yanks in NY.

At least the Twins have a date. Detroit's demise is one of the greatest meltdowns ever. Sad....so sad.

Definitely a meltdown....
Only team in history to lose a 3 game lead with 4 games left. Had been in 1st place since I believe mid-May. I see a parallel to Detroit's auto industry.... I like Jim Leyland, but I have a tough time letting Miguel Cabrera play after his weekend antics. I am sure he felt letting him play gave them the best shot to win. A blood alcohol of .26 at 7 in the morning? I heard on a sports show that experts said he would not have been sober by game time. Nice way to give it your all Cabrera. |

Im pretty sure the .26 was many hours before that, it was at night/very early morning. He got picked up by Dave Dombrowski at 730am when he was no longer intoxicated. Also experts aren't the best in these situations, every body is different when it comes to alcohol and how it reacts to it. Last edited by fm8418; 10-07-2009 at 10:12 AM. |
