I've actually been telling people at work about Brett's car issue. I'm just paraphrasing what has been going on, but there are lots of good laughs all around. Sorry Brett that this is at your expense. I hope you get that gas cap fixed so can get home and tell us what has happened since yesterday.

I've been so worried that he is broke down somewhere with no gas so I have been checking the DMV cameras. I found him and sent help Wyoming style. Glad he's ok.

Brett.....Don't listen to these Jokers.....here's how to get the gas cap off:

1) have girlfriend grip gas cap with a pair of vice-locks
2) you, pick up the car at the rear bumper
3) while holding the car over your head run as fast as you can to the right
4) repeat until gas cap opened
5) go to ER for back surgery

That gas is not going to do much good unless he gets the cap off.

Maybe if he cuts the gas line between the tank and the fuel pump he can siphon it backwards into the tank (and then duct tape the line back of course).

I know guys who have taken a grinder to their gas tank. I know it is easier to cut a whole in the tank to change a fuel pump than drop the tank and change it, but damn!

I got it fixed. A mechanic even had a hard time getting it off. He thought it was funny. He broke it off and got a new one from a store down the street. It cost me $18 to fill up from E lol. I was like um, wtf lol. Im sure this is a good read but I gotta make supper and get stuff done. I work at 3am tomorrow monring and that makes me not happy.

I was close to running outta gas I think. The light was on all day. My boss also said asked If I need a ride to the shop? I turned and looked, smiled, and said really? Are you gonna bring the mechanic back? He laughed for a bit. I then asked for a raise. Didn't get nowhere. Maybe I should print this and bring it in and ask for a raise again???

Thats all that happened today. 6 coworkers also tried to get it off. Wasn't happeneing. I coulda broke it off but It was the smarter thing to not do it until I had a new cap.
