Default Sporting News Ranks Pittsburgh Tops in Sports Cities

Obviously this ranking is weighed heavily by the great Steelers dynasty
Philly came in second, while Boston dropped to third this year. Boston had finished first 3 of the past 5 years. What does it mean ? Not much but its a fun debate.

I figured it wasn't because of the Pirates...lol. You got a kid named Sidney Crosby too, and of course last season a Stanley Cup. I bet that's brought a ton of people back to hockey.

How exactly does Philly leap frog Boston? A WS victory? Boston has won 2 WS, lost in 7 game ALCS' twice, and also had 1 NBA, and a few Super Bowls over the last decade. For that matter, how does Pitt get ahead of Boston?? Oh well, all these rankings are retarded anyhow. Pitt is an awesome city though.

I dont' care how good the Steelers are, any city with the Pirates can't be #1. (And not to mention no NBA team.)

New York is the greatest city in the world. That includes sports. You guys are arguing about second place regardless of the Sporting News assessment.

Deal with it!
