You question was sort of like asking:

Which is better:

2013 Hyundai Sonata LS

2011 Honda Accord EX-L, 3.5L V6, 271HO, 0-60 in 6.4 seconds, 14.7 cu.ft cargo, etc....

I filled in the details on the Toshiba to make the comparison easier.

It ultimately comes down to, are you a fan of macs software? I am which I will never buy another computer that isn't made by Mac, had one and broke so went right back to mac

So... looking at a comparison, the Mac has a better processor. The Toshiba has a bigger screen BUT they are almost the same resolution so you won't lose any real estate on the display. The hard drive is bigger on the Toshiba.

Pretty much. It is coming down to your choice if you want to spend more money on a Mac and have less storage haha

Slave.

Id reccomend the Toshiba OP. I have one and its very very cheap and easy to upgrade. If youre having speed problems pop one of these in and youre good to go

Just a personal preference. Had a Mac for 8 years and still works today, but have had 3 other non Mac laptops that all broke down on me and no longer work

Why a slave? He explained it. It's correct, and essentially human to prefer something that you have found to work reliably for you over something that has failed for you. That's not being a slave. That's learning from experience.
